About Us
Ferndale Psychology (named after a small town in the valleys of South Wales) is a London, Ontario based private practice offering virtual, in-person, and walk and talk options for individual and group psychotherapy with a small group of dedicated clinical and counselling psychologists and interns.
We primarily see older adolescents and adults presenting with concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, parenting challenges, grief, historical or present-day traumas, and those wishing to understand relationship dynamics, attachment patterns, and work on personal growth.
We are a queer affirming practice that values all forms of diversity.
Values Statement
Life brings with it many ups and downs. Some people are born into comparatively privileged situations and some aren’t - and although the odds may differ in these cases, the commonality is that being human comes with suffering. We all have the inborn potential to live rich, full and meaningful value-led lives, and sometimes, getting support from a trusted professional can make all the difference. The way in which we cope with our internal world of thoughts, emotions and sensations can either increase our suffering or refocus our goals, aligning them with what we want from life.
Psychologists at Ferndale Psychology are here to help with navigating life’s hills and valleys.
We are a practice of highly trained and skilled clinical and counselling psychologists and advanced graduate-level trainees who will work with you in individual or group psychotherapy to branch out from old patterns and discover yourself and new ways of being.
